Monthly Forecast for June 2008
The new moon on the 3rd is in the sign of Gemini, but with Mercury retrograde it really isnt so much a time to begin new projects as it is to reorganize and remove clutter. Take the time around the new moon as a kind of spring cleaning.
From the 4th through the 9th, there are a series of aspects between the sun, Mars, Venus and Mercury which should be generally helpful. Communication within relationships should go relatively smoothly, although perhaps not so much through words as through actions. There is a general harmony between what we want and how we act at this time.
The first quarter moon on the 10th is a time put into action the plans and ideas made during the time since the new moon.
On the 12th and 13th, Venus and the sun are in square to Uranus. Venus is about how we relate and what we value, while the sun has to do with our sense of self. Uranus seeks the new and different, so this could be a good time to go forward with a new relationship or to try something new within an existing one. Well also want to express our individuality in a way that reflects on us more personally. All in all, this is a good time to move on something youve been planning or thinking about doing, but watch out that you dont act too impulsively.
Also on the 13th, Venus makes a harmonious trine to Neptune. We can feel good about what we value, especially in relationships, while at the same time maybe overestimating a little bit. With the Uranus aspect still fresh, were very likely to want to act on our intuitions.
On the 18th, Venus opposes Pluto, a very different kind of energy for relationships. Here the question is, Am I getting what I want? and if the answer is no, it could be curtains for the partnership. On a less dramatic level, we might find that we are able to communicate our needs more clearly. Since this is also the day of the full moon, its very unlikely that well be in any kind of a mood to hide our feelings.
Mercury stations to go direct on the 19th. Give it a week or so before buying electronics, a car, or signing an agreement, though, as it takes a while for the Messenger to get up to speed. Click here for more about Mercury retrograde.
On the 20th, the sun opposes Pluto in the last degrees of Gemini/Sagittarius. Here we question what it is we believe to be true, and what the evidence says about our beliefs. Struggles with those in authority are a likely manifestation. Later that evening, the sun moves into Cancer, marking the Summer Solstice and the beginning of summer.
The 21st has a harmonious sextile between Venus and Saturn, good for relationships in general, and not bad for getting an appraisal of land or valuables.
More likely, however, the 21st will be dominated by an opposition of Mars to Neptune. Mars is energy, drive, ambition, and Neptune is a foggy, dreamy planet. The result of their combination? We can try to make dreams come true, for one thing. We might go beyond the boundaries, so be careful that you dont overdo it with exercise or drive to fast or aggressively. Since this is an opposition, were most likely to act this aspect out with others, rather than just feeling the energy within.
The 26th is the last quarter moon, in the energetic sign of Aries, adding fuel to the fire of the Uranus station on the same day. This day is all about expressing our individuality, wanting things to be our way. Patience is probably going to be in short supply, so be a little careful of your mood, and others too.
The last aspect of the month, on the 30th, is a soft trine between Mars and Pluto. These two tough guys will fire us up with energy, so plan on using it well. Its a good day for any activity that requires you to use your energy, but dramatic and artistic endeavors are especially benefitted.
